The ideal I strugle to attain within my designs is one of 'complex simplicity'
- In which the object seems simple, uncluttered and immediately understandable to the viewer,
but which on futher probing reveals more detail, or a greater understanding
of how the piece is to be used. Sometimes a lot of work is required
to make something look very simple.

on life:
Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future
- concentrate on the present moment.
