Front-End HTML Developer
JUXT is seeking a CSS/XHTML guru for a Front-End HTML Developer position. The ideal candidate should understand the separation of content from design, scoff at the mention of using tables and know when and when NOT to use Dreamweaver. Should write validating, standards-compliant, and semantically-rich code and be aware of cross-browser compatibility and bugs. Translations from the designs to final code should be a match, pixel-for-pixel.
Copywriter
JUXT is seeking an interactive creative copywriter to concept, manage, and execute content for high profile rich media banner campaigns and websites. Campaigns will seek to drive program awareness, increase affinity for the brand, and drive click thru\'s. The copywriter will work closely with the art director to ensure that the tone and style are consistent with the visuals, manage and respond to client feedback, and amend and revise campaigns based on performance.
Interactive Designer/Developer
Juxt Interactive is seeking an Interactive designer. Candidates should have 3 years of interactive design experience. We are looking for rare individuals that have a gift for original thinking, a broad exposure to design and design styles as well as having a mastery of the tools involved in developing the interactive medium. Candidates must have proficiency with PhotoShop, Freehand or Illustrator, 3d apps, Video editing, Sound design and HTML development tools. Candidate must have extreme proficiency with Flash motion development and actionscripting. He/she must have excellent communication skills and be a great team player. We are looking for people that are willing to work hard and grow.
We are currently not considering International candidates beyond Canada at this time. You must be a resident of or be willing to relocate to southern California. But hey it is not that bad we are a mile from the beach.
Art Director
Juxt Interactive is seeking an Art Director/Flash designer. Candidates should have 5 years of interactive design experience. Web Developer (C#/Java)
Juxt Interactive seeks an assertive, knowledgeable and capable web developer. Candidate must have a minimum 3 years experience developing dynamic web sites and/or applications with a mastery of Internet technologies. Computer science degree preferred but not mandatory. Must be detail oriented and work well in a team environment. The position will involve working with the production/development team to build web sites and applications as well as playing a key role in maintaining existing projects.
Actionscript/Developer
Juxt Interactive is seeking a Flash Actionscript/developer. The ideal ActionScript Developer would have several years of experience in a creative environment with knowledge of both ActionScript and the standard Flash production methods. A thorough understanding of ActionScript 1.0 is required including OOP concepts, XML data exchange, use of external ActionScript files and programmatic tweening and animation; a working knowledge of ActionScript 2 is a plus. The ability to quickly produce lightweight, clean code is a necessity. Candidates should be prepared to direct production personnel and provide assistance to staff with ActionScript related issues, as well as perform production duties themselves.
